In 1965 he had set up a tea stall & sold tea to jawans during the Indo-Pak war . In his teenage years he had joined the student wing of RSS. In 1967 he married Jashodaben Modi at the age of 17.And then left home to earn a living enlightenment & came back in 1970.
In 1972 he became a junior member of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangha (RSS). And his political career began. Over the next few years he slowly increased his ranks in party . And in 1987 he joined BJP & after some days he became organisational secretary of Gujarat state.
In 1990 Modi was an integral part of the Somnath'Ayodhya Rath Yatra carried out by Mr. LK Advani. And also in 1991 he was involved in Ekta Yatra of Murli Manohar Joshi.Then he became General Secretary of BJO's Haryana & HP function. In 1995 he shifted to Delhi because he was appointed as General Secretary .
In 2001 he became Chief Minister of Gujarat by replacing Keshubhai Patel.For the third time in 2007 he won the state Assembly . And in 2012 he became Chief Minister of Gujarat for fourth time & in 2014 he was nominated as BJP's PM Candidate & he led the BJP to victory with 282 seat in the Lok saba.And now in 2019 he become PM for 2nd time .
